2.) Although The Clyde Hotel does not handle or store credit card data in any form on our servers or website, The Clyde Hotel has purchased an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate and installed it on the website. This adds the https:// functionality on the entire site which adds an extra security layer. All information is encrypted between you (the client) and us (the server). Therefore, all credit card data that is transmitted to stripe is always secure.
3.) The Clyde Hotel uses Stripe as the payment gateway to make secure payments as previously stated. Customer information is held in Stripe and customers can be manually charged in the unlikely event that during the hotel stay, there is damage caused to the room or property of The Clyde Hotel. By staying at our hotel, you agree that you are held accountable for any damages you cause.
4.) The Clyde Hotel, including the website software, functions, etc are provided “as-is” for your convenience.
5.) The Clyde Hotel has a 12.5% total tax rate, which is comprised of a sales tax portion and a transient (occupancy) tax portion.
6.) CANCELLATION POLICY: If The Clyde Hotel is not notified prior to 72 hours (3 days) before the check-in date, a $20 non refundable fee will be taken out from the entire booking payment. The remaining balance after the $20 fee is taken out will be refunded back onto the original credit card used to make the booking. This policy is in effect starting on all bookings made on or after 8/18/2017. This is due to rising cancellations being made at the last minute. By using the website, emailing, or calling The Clyde Hotel to make a reservation, you agree and are bound to these terms.
